About Us
The team building safer handovers.
Handovex began as TORCH, a clinical-handover project built at the MYMI × MLAI MedHack, where it won both the Outstanding Pitch and Crowd Favourite awards.
Now part of the SH1P accelerator, we’re turning that idea into a company: structured, auditable handover records for the clinicians and hospitals keeping patients safe across Australia and New Zealand.
Safety first
Handover is where care most often breaks down. Everything we build aims to reduce avoidable communication gaps.
Built for ANZ
Designed around Australian and New Zealand clinical workflows, hosted on AWS Sydney and aligned with local privacy law.
On the record
Turning error-prone verbal exchanges into structured, reviewable draft records clinicians can trust.
